How We Started
Who will take care of me when I cannot take care of myself?
As the aging population increases, more and more seniors are faced with this question.
Miguel, a Caregiver while attending nursing school saw this problem first hand. He saw the plight of seniors who needed day-to-day care and assistance and the inadequacies of the services the seniors were receiving from most of the Home Care Agencies.
“My experiences with these agencies prompted me to start up my own and try to make a difference by being more personally involved in the care of our clients.”
Irma, had known this problem from her own parents’ situation. Ever since, she had wanted to do something for older people.
Irma, a clinical Psychology graduate, happens to have a natural fondness for the elderly. And Miguel, a nurse by training and profession, has the desire to provide service to them. They got together and decided to set up a company that will showcase and put forth their passion. Hence, the founding of Evergreen Care Providers, Inc.
