There comes a time when an elderly person or someone recovering from an acute illness or surgery is unable to fully care for themselves. Simple tasks of daily living can be extremely difficult. During these times, you or your loved one should still be able to perform these daily activities with the assistance of our Caregiver. Our employees are well trained to provide excellent care, which allows one to maintain his or her independence in a safe and sound environment - that is your home.

Nutritious Meal Preparation
back

Proper nutrition is vital to one’s well being. Most often than not, elderly people or those recovering from illnesses have specific nutritional needs. This being said it is critical to make sure that they get the sustenance they need to continue being well and healthy. Our Caregivers understand this and are trained to ensure our clients are getting the appropriate nourishments needed.

Hygiene Management, Toileting, and Dressing
back

Good hygiene is key to staying healthy and preventing or reducing the spread of diseases. For the elderly and those who are suffering from some form of sickness, hygienic practices such as bathing, washing of hands, proper toileting, becomes difficult thereby preventing them from performing it properly or not at all. Our competent Caregivers will see to it that you or your loved ones continue to do these activities on a regular basis. Further, our Caregivers check for skin lesions, tears or other conditions to ensure that they are tended to in a timely manner to prevent further complications.

Assistance in Range of Motion Exercises
back

Mobility plays an important role in being healthy. It is very important to promote muscle strength and circulation. This is vital for people who are recovering from surgery or those who have been prescribed some exercises to maintain or regain mobility in certain parts of the body. A Caregiver can make sure that these exercises are done properly.

Medication Assistance
back

Taking prescribed medication is essential to one’s continuous good health. Remembering to take them though is tedious for any person, more so to the elderly or somebody who just underwent surgery or is recovering from an illness. One of our Caregivers’ primary responsibilities is to make sure that you or your loved one takes the required medicine properly and on a timely manner. That itself is a burden lifted off your shoulder.

Transportation
back

Doctors, dentists, banking, market, church, social visits to families and friends close by. These are places and activities you or your loved one need or still wants to do. But what are you or your loved one to do if you or they cannot drive anymore and the closest relative lives 100 miles away? We have Caregivers that specifically chose to do just this. Drive somebody around. Our staff that does this have excellent DMV records, insured, and well trained to transport clients to places.
